(as the patient),

it is very very confusing with the new barrier system and exactly how to get the barrier open.

The machine is not designed to be easy

You scan the ticket by waving it about in a square shaped hole which doesn't seem to

Pull the ticket in.

Thank you for your comments regarding the new barrier system in place at Wrightington Hospital. I have been advised by the Trust’s Head of Security and Car Parks that following user feedback, there are plans over the next few weeks to display additional signage, which will improve the system and make it clearer to visitors on how to use the car park system.
