"Nurses Brilliant, everything else a disgrace"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital

My father was in intensive care for 2 weeks. The dust remained under his bed for the entire stay. The Nurses were brilliant, very helpful and honest, Consultants and Surgeons a different matter.....Have a complete 'patients and families are in the way attitude' The hospital itself is very tired, rather than spending money on a new entrance, how about updating the medical facilities? The restaurant is terrible...over priced, not 24 hours and the vending machines are continually broken. Steer clear...go elsewhere!

We are very sorry that the Surgeons and Consultants lacked the compassion that we expect all our staff to deliver and that the hospital facilities were not of the high standard that we expect to provide. Please be assured that your feedback will be passed onto the managers responsible for our Surgical Services and Restaurant/vending machines. We would welcome the opportunity to investigate the issues you have raised and provide you with a response.
