What I liked

The idea of taking aticket and waiting, felt like being at the meat counter in supermarket!

What could be improved

I waited over 2 hours for a blood test at the hospital. I had to fast before the test. Arrived at 8 o'clock (the time the department opens) and there must have been at least 50 people already waiting before me.

We are sorry that you had an extended wait for your blood test. Specific appointments for blood tests can be booked in advance at both the hospital and a number of sites in the local area. These can be booked by calling 01702 422555. Details of the clinic locations can be found on our website www.southend.nhs.uk
