What I liked

I delivered my second baby recently at the L&D and thought the care I received was excellent. The Midwives were professional, respectful and did everything within their power to make my experience as easy and comfortable as possible.

What could be improved

Very little, although I did notice that my midwives did not appear to get any breaks for drinks etc., this seemed a little unfair given how they were very attentive to my needs.

Anything else?

I would not hesitate to recommend the L&Dto anyone planning on having a baby.

We value the time taken and appreciate all feedback - this message has been passed onto Maternity staff. We do encourage staff to "buddy" with colleagues to organise breaks between them but there are times when midwives are unable to go for a break. However, we are actively recruiting more Midwives and anticipate an improvement soon.
