"Excellent Maternity staff"

I gave birth to my 1st child in Feb 2015. The staff from every aspect of the maternity unit were brilliant. I was fortunante enough to be in the late stages of labour when I arrived and was taken to a delivery room promptly. Room very clean, spacious and quiet. All staff were pleasant, introduced themselves to myself and my partner and explained everything well. The only downside was after delivery of my baby at 18.00pm I stayed on delivery ward until 21.00pm and becasue I was going into a bay with other ladies in the postnatal ward my partner was not allowed to come with my and the baby to settle us in. He had to leave once we were taken around. Apart from that I would highly recommend the QE for the maternity services. From the early 7 week scan right unti delivery I felt there was always someone at the end of the phone if we had any worries/queries. Well done and keep up the hard work!!
