What I liked

I felt that all staff on Ward 32 were fantastic. Day and night they were energetic, pleasant and very helpful. They enjoyed their work and it showed through their attitudes and genuine smiles.My son was very restless thrgh the first day and second eve but staff help me to gather myself and start again on a happier note. A much better experience than 5 years ago with my first child. I would just like to say Thank you to everyone who had contact with me during this VERY PLEASURABLE experience. Keep up the good work :)

What could be improved

Cleaning could have been better as the bin in the toilet wasn't emptied until my second day on the ward and ladies who have just given birth produce alot of 'waste'. Although once this matter was reported a clener arrived first thing the next morning to empty it.

Thank you for your kind comments. Our Maternity team endeavours to make every 'Mum's' experience as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We try to ensure that their birth experience is a joyful experience.

With regard to the cleaning issues, patient safety is our highest priority and we constantly look at how to improve our supporting services.
