i was sent down to theatre before seeing the anaesthetist and they had gone up to the ward to see me and then had to go back down to find me which was a shame for them. i hate having to repeat again again things like do i have diabetes or any allergies and do i have any metal in my body etc etc. it is such a waste seeing as i have told you it all before and it is a waste of nursing time and just slows the whole process down. on the questionnaire i had to fill in before the appointment it asked me for my unit number and my nhs number - surely you only need one or other. it would be nice to be informed about post operative procedure before i went down as when i came round from the operation i was waiting in the bed and didnt know what would happen next nor how long it was likely to take. none of the above was serious failings, but you asked for feedback and these are things that would improve the journey for the next patient. The surgeon has done a great job and the nurses were great. thanks you
"Arthroscopy - a good experience thank you"
