"cateract waiting list."

My Dad recently visited this Hospital in the hope of getting this operation, he had been referred to Johnson via the opticians after he was told his cataracts were aggressive! we thought great, we would be able to get this done pretty quick being local, how mistaken we were, we take my dad every where with us as he is not able to see very well, or even hear very well any more, but we will not even go on about the NHS hearing aids! so when we asked how long this operation will take they said 18 weeks I explained that my dad is at risk as he lives at home alone, Unable to barley see, there reason was he is fit to drive great! we don't think he is after nearly hitting bollards in the road, going up the curb, and nearly hitting a horse!! come on have you ever driven with one eye. but they say that he can see well enough, even though he practically has to put his finger in a cup of boiling water to feel how full the cup is for a cup of tea. So great you can brag about the new operation you are now able to do, but we will sit back and wait for you until you have an hours spot to fit my dad in, I myself am a staff nurse but I work in the real world of helping people.
