I was admitted following a failed lancing of a bartholins cyst at another hospital and had become septic. I ended up on iv antibiotics and had 2 emergancy operations. The care I recieved from ward 6 was second to none. Every member of staff from the domestics, nurses, Drs and theatre staff were truly amazing.
Nurse Lynne Russell was an absolute star and made the whole unpleasant experience of my illness bearable. I was not the easiest patient to nurse as I was terrified but the nurses were fantastic. The atmosphere in the ward was fantastic and all staff had such a great rapport especially Sharon, Audrey, Aona and Lynne. My visitor also commented on how good the staff were and on the cleanliness of the hospital.
Lynne Russell should get an award and or a pay rise. Cannot emphasis enough how wonderful her manner was and how professional her care was. It made a huge difference to me and my care and she made visiting a pleasant experience for my children. I felt very safe in the care of ward 6 so thank you.
