"care on ward 28"

My mother spent her last few weeks on ward 28. I cannot begin to say how superbly she was cared for. All medical and nursing staff that I met were so very kind, not only and most importantly, to my Mum, but to the rest of the family also. We had open visiting and during that time I witnessed nurses being thoughtful and attentive to all 6 patients in her bay in the small ways that make such a difference. This was the NHS at its very best.
