I m afraid to say I hope I never have an emergency and hope I never do , my father was recently admitted via accident and emergency , my dad is a gentleman and lying on a trolley for hours in a corridor is no way to wait for emergency treatment , I could nt believe how bad the situation is there , after the nhs has spent all that money in building the new hospital , patients are in corridors with very little dignity and no privacy . I know that you ll reply with the standard reply to get in touch with pals, but cant see how this is going to help after you have already had lots of complaints and its been in the local newspapers and still people are in corridors . I ve got to say that the doctors and nurses were excellent but I hope that somehow, someone, somewhere sorts the waiting in corridors out.
