"Surgical assessment unit"

I spent 3 days on this ward with a recurrent medical condition that requires surgery. I also suffer with severe anxiety and panic attacks. Throughout my stay the nursing staff were exemplary in their care and support; especially the staff nurse. The patience, time and nursing care shown not just to me, but to everyone in the bay, was second to none. This made a difficult, painful time all the more bearable. The atmosphere was one of calm, caring, professionalism displayed by housekeeping, health care assistants and nursing staff alike. I cannot thank them all enough
