My 86 year old Auntie, who live alone, fell in her own home on a Sunday at 15: 30. She tried to get herself up for the first half a hour but couldn't so she pressed her Carline button.
Careline then phoned for a ambulance at 16: 05. The ambulance arrived at 17: 30, one and a half hours after they were first contacted.
It is unacceptable to leave a elderly person on the floor unable to get up for so long and someone needs to be accountable for this.
