About: The Maidstone Hospital

I am currently receiving treatment at the Charles Dickens ward for pancreatic cancer and I have to say the treatment and staff are absolutely 1st class. The most recent experience at the hospital was Friday night when I was told to go straight to A&E because I had a temperature of 38.7 and was felling unwell. Once booked in at reception very efficiently I was asked to take a seat in a side room and a nurse will be with you shortly. Within no time at all I was seen with part diagnoses and was taken into a treatment ward nearby. The diagnoses with confirmed and treatment started immediately and within an hour I started to feel better. I left A&E somewhat later with a prescribed prescription and today Sunday I feel so much better. The nurses that treated me were 1st class and made me feel confident in there ability to treat me. Once again a credit to the NHS and there staff at Maidstone, Thank you
