I was transferred to cardiac ward 2A from John Radcliffe Hospital where my triple bypass had been done. Because of my other health problems - renal failure and diabetes, I think mine was a complicated case needing many checks on blood sugar, blood pressure and temperature, and because of a lot of fluid build-up, I needed frequent dialysis. At the time, I was sometimes grumpy about these constant checks! Throughout the whole 3 weeks of my stay, I received much careful, patient and kind attention and was impressed with the professionalism of all the staff in the ward. Many thanks to everyone who looked after me because I know I must have been a difficult patient!
"Nothing but praise for cardiac ward 2A."
