I attended the hospital to have an infected abscess removed at 9am with no appointment. I was seen to, operated on and home by 9pm which I was extremely greatful about due to the pain. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, they were all extremely friendly I couldn't thank them enough considering I am a very nervous patient!! Not a bad word to say about my first experience of an operation.

I can imagine how painful your abscess will have been and I am very pleased to hear you were treated so quickly. I do hope you are recovering well and I shall pass your comments to the Director of Nursing & Midwifery for sharing to the staff; I am sure they will be delighted to know their care made a difference.
