My 15 year old daughter and I were met at the door by a very cheerful member of staff, and directed to the correct department which we found at ease thanks to great directions. On arrival on the unit the member of staff behind the desk was extremely polite and efficient, we were shown to a clean and tidy seating area, but not for long as we were swiftly moved on to have basic observations by a very friendly, smiling nurse who directed the conversation to my daughter and immediately put her at ease. Following this we waited just a few minutes to see the Doctor. This was our first appointment and we expected to be referred for a few tests and then leave. The doctor was so very thorough. They were very patient and dealt with all my daughters issues - and there were many! At no time did we feel rushed or like we were causing problems, this doctor has managed to put us at ease following a difficult diagnosis and we now feel listened to and supported. When we moved on to have an ECG we were met by further members of staff who directed us cheerfully to the appropriate department, and the nurse who performed the test on my daughter has really left an impression on her, despite it being the hottest day of the year the nurse was professional, cheerful and maintained my daughters dignity beautifully. The pharmacy staff were also very helpful, we could not fault one part of out visit. Our thanks to all the staff who assisted us on that day
