"Not enough time"

About: North Ayrshire Council - Three Towns, North Coast and Arran

(as a service user),

I get carers from the council four times a day. The get me showered, give me breakfast, lunch and dinner and help me to bed. The carers are great.

It's more or less people I know that come now and they are all good. The only problem is they don't have long enough to spend in the house, by the time they take their jacket off and sign in there is not much time left.

The carers will always help with things around the house but I like to do what I can by myself. I find it so frustrating the things I can't do for myself anymore.

Dear Bowler1

Thank you for taking the time to use Care Opinion to share your story. I'm really pleased to hear that the Carers who support you are "great".

If you could contact me on the telephone number below I can discuss how we resolve the issue you have raised in relation to carers not having enough time. This may involve a reassessment, or review of your current care plan. This will ensure that the service that you receive continues to meet your individual care needs.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Mark Halpin
