"A&E Early Hours visit"

About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

I visited A&E last night at around 2.15 am with my daughter who was having difficulty breathing due to a severe hay fever attack. We waited only 10 to 15 minutes before being seen. The Doctor took a full history and carried out an examination before prescribing an inhaler and steroid tablets. She was then put on a nebuliser for around 20 minutes. Before we left she was given an inhaler and explained how to use it effectively. All in all an extremely efficient service. We drove from the car park a mere 45 mins later. Daughter much more comfortable now. Thank you very much.
