my late husband was treated in this hell hole he was dying of cancer the oncolagy department were uncaring he sat for hours on end having chemo with no one to talk to and was treated like a number not a human being .They kept him waiting for hours to get precriptions because there was no doctor to sign them .He was hard of hearing but they treated him as though he was daft because he could not wear his hearing aid and always make out what they were saying .The receptionwas a joke and the staff so rude how they keep their jobs i really dont know .This was a very sad time in our life and to be finaly told there wes nothing more could be done for him was the hardest thing in our life but to be told by a doctor who wassitting on the bench ment for patients swinging her legs said it all about this hospital thay just dont care .The story goes on but it wont change any thing and this hospital does not care a dam all i will say is if you are ill or any of your family dont go there travel if you have to but i am sure were ever you go it will be an improvement on the p d h

The Trust takes the experiences of patients and visitors to our hospitals very seriously and we aim to provide a safe, caring and effective service. However, we do recognise there are occasions when an experience may not have met the expectations of our patients or visitors and we are keen to understand how we cam make things better.

To help us continually improve our services for current and future patients and visitors we need feedback and are happy to look into any matter where a patient or visitor is disappointed with the service they received.

This feedback has been forwarded to the relevant department to look into in further detail. Please contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01733 875847 or email pals@pbh-tr.nhs.uk who will provide help and advice regarding any issue.

Thank you for visiting NHS Choices.
