"Amazing Birthing Centre"

I had my daughter in St. Mary's birthing centre last year and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The facilities were amazing; clean, comfortable and relaxing. We used a room with a birthing pool for the birth and afterwards were moved to a room with a double bed and en suite where my partner was able to stay over night for our first night with our daughter. I was offered food and drink throughout our stay. The staff in the birthing centre are amazing; very welcoming (also at the check up appointments we had beforehand) and friendly. I felt totally in control of my birthing plan and they really worked with me to achieve what I wanted. They were calm and quiet when I needed it during labour but also energetic and excited when necessary (pushing stage!). They seemed to be able to read how I needed them to be and responded accordingly. We had such a positive experience there, I recommend this birthing centre to everyone and cannot thank the staff enough for their support. They are like angels!! Despite massive changes going on to the system in the prenatal service, I also found this well organised and the staff friendly for all my prenatal check ups. They were working under enormous pressure whilst systems were being updated/ changed and still remained pleasant and friendly.
