"A & E treatment"

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

I was admitted to the A&E after a road accident on my bike when I collided with a car coming across my path. Sorry but I do not know the names but the consultant and the nurse applying my plaster were simply fantastic. The consultant did a great job stitching me up and the nurse also with the plaster to my arm. Both kept me informed of my injuries, what they were doing but also talked to me generally all the way through. Waiting - yes there was a lot. I was there c. 5 hours in total but so what. In the context of all that was goes on in A&E, I have no complaints but loads of admiration for all the staff etc. Many thanks to all who helped me including the ambulance staff - you are all saints. Thank you for your feedback. I hope you are recovering well after your accident. I will pass your comments to the staff in ED, who are fantastic and do a wonderful job. I will make sure the nursing staff and the consultant are aware of your feedback. Thank you. Kieren Done Complaints and Customer Service Team Manager
