About: Locala Community Partnerships CIC West Yorkshire

(as the patient),

Dear Sir/Madam,

Having just been to The Junction Surgery to arrange for two stitches taking out, I was told as of July 1st they would be no longer doing stitch removal so was sent to Mill Hill who say they are inundated with people from the said Surgery and as they are originally set up as ulcer out patients they are finding it hard to cope.

The appointment I got was for July 9th only luck. I had been told by both Dr and reception at the said Surgery they would do the removal after biopsy at the Calderdale Hospital in Halifax only to be told otherwise, it is getting worse there, we what they actually do, do down there at times. We are told there are a lot of issues going on at the surgery so patients are suffering because of it.

Thank goodness for the people at Mill Hill who sorted me out, they did say because of the problem at our surgery they are finding it hard to cope with the extra work load placed on them.

Tete,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback on Patient Opinion and letting us know of your experience.

We are aware of these issues and are working with the Commissioners and the Practice to identify how the current impact on patients and district nursing can be prevented, so that patients have a more positive experience in the future.
