My son suffered chest trauma whilst playing rugby league in hull which resulted in a blood clot on his brain stem. he was rushed to hull royal where he underwent a life saving operation to remove the clot which was partiality successful. he was then transferred to leeds general infirmary ICU. the treatment he received was second to none. every member of staff were absolutely brilliant with him and myself as well as other family members. they were caring and honest and supported us through this horrendous time. My son was moved onto ward L52 in the claradon wing. the nursing staff and Dr's were again first class and always made time to answer questions and ease our fears. the whole 4 weeks my son was at Leeds he was treated brilliant and we have nothing but praise for all the hard working staff at Leeds. He is now home recovering and still unable to return to school. we just wanted to say a massive thank you as without the help and support received I don't think we could have coped and be where we are today especially my son.
"Nothing but praise for my son's care"
