What I liked

The friendliness, professionalism, and efficiency of the staff. The speed with which I was diagnosed with colon cancer, admitted and treated, and the satisfactory outcome. I also appreciate the excellent follow-up care that I am receiving. This episode was obviously a real low point in my life, but the nurses and doctors helped me to find humour even in those circumstances.

What could be improved

I'm sorry to say, but the food really was not up to much. Tasteless, poorly presented, and with no imagination to tempt people who may well be off their food. It came as no surprise to learn that Ipswich Hospital has one of the highest levels of wasted food in the eastern region.
