"Acute medical unit"

About: Bradford Royal Infirmary

I was admitted via A and E following a worsening of a long term condition, care in a and e was ok but AMU was appauling. I eventually left in agony having only seen a hca in the 9 hours I was there. I understand that there are other sick patients but 9 hours! No treatment given in that time I was refused medication untill the doctor had seen me. Thank fully I went to another hospital where I received great care.
