My mother had a massive stroke and was transferred to Monklands Hospital. She was critically ill and doctors were able to treat her very quickly.
The care she received in the first few days were excellent and the treatment provided by the hospital staff to me and my family was first class.
Family members travelled from London and the South East and whilst there were notices limiting the number of visitors and visiting times the nursing staff were very tolerant and flexible around visiting time.
The doctor explained very clearly what had happened to mum and sympathetically. He allowed us to ask questions and provided clear and truthful answers.
The nursing staff were very supportive and tolerant to the many demands of the various family members.
