"Disapointment once again !!!!!!"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Attended my pre-op 22nd June 15 operation 26 June 15 for gall bladder removal and liver re roofing.Only to get 2 letters the day before saying it had been cancelled.on one letter the cancellation letter had been dictated on the 8th June the day I had been for my apt to see surgeon who was unavailable so I saw another doctor who explained what would happen but had to go back the following week to see the surgeon who was there they gave me a date and said fingers crossed. Then it was cancelled.I wish someone would explain this to my place of work when I am having to have time off for waste of time appointments.I was referred to MRI from Hope Hospital due them finding the cyst on my liver.I should have had the gallbladder out 5 years ago but got cancelled 3 times at Hope Hospital they assured me it would not happen again well here we go again now with more stones than they can count plus a cyst on my liver.PS I was rushed in Hope Hospital in April with gallstone attack this when all this started again.I will phone today to try and find out what is happening.

If you contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 0161 276 8686 or by e-mailing pals@cmft.nhs.uk they will be happy to discuss this with you.
