In October 2014 my world turned up side down as I found out my baby had no heart beat. The staff on the maternity unit were so helpful and respectful. They have a special set of rooms that are used when having to give birth to a sleeping baby, so I didn't have to see others at their happy time while I was at my saddest. They give me as much time as I needed with my son, pictures, a memory box, a certificate to say he had been. The chaplain helped us with a blessing and bereavement officer helped go though the after. The hospital gave him a funeral which meant so much to us. Each year Pinderfields has a remembrance service for baby's no longer here to help the families. For the worst time of my life I am thankful of the support the staff gave and continue to give
"compassion and care"
