"I am losing hope that I will ever get my life back"

I am due a hip replacement operation. What hasn't happened is nearer the mark I saw the Consultant in November 2014. I had a pre op in January and I am still waiting. It has now been 30 weeks and in 2 weeks time I will have to have another pre op or the operation will not ever happen.

Every time I phone the hospital to find out it just gets further and further away. The pain is now constant and I should be in a wheelchair but my house is not suitable. Will this ever change. I am now losing hope that I will ever get my life back.

My friends keep telling me about people they know that have only had to wait a few weeks.

I would like to know how many other people have had to wait this long for a hip replacement at Arrowe Park Hospital.
