"Excellent service from everyone involved"

On 12th June my husband woke with severe pains in his chest I dialled 999 for an ambulance which arrived in a very short time.The 2 ambulance staff could not have done more to make my husband comfortable they were both fantastic,they then decided to take my husband to the hospital asked me if I would like to go with him,but I decided that as he was in their very capable hands I would drive myself to the hospital so if I needed to get back home to pick anything up it would be far easier.When I arrived at the hospital I went to the reception desk at A&E and they directed me to where my husband was once again the treatment he received in the A&E department was fantastic.he was then moved to another ares for more tests once again everyone he saw could not have done more. He was then moved to to the C D U where he was made very comfortable and was then giving lunch while he waited to see what the outcome would be,they not only looked after my husband but they took care of me to.He then saw the registrar who explained everything to us and said they wanted my husband to attend the chest pain clinic and he would get an appointment within 10 days which he did,we went there on Wednesday the staff were great we saw a Cardiac nurse ,what a lovely person once again everything was explained to us,he then went on the treadmill, after that back to the Cardiac nurse and thank goodness it appears at the present time everything is ok,but the nurse did say should it happen again he would have to be referred to the doctor.We would both like to say a huge thank you to everyone involved they don't just care about the patient its family as well .
