"Excellent Care - Wonderful Outcome"

I had a replacement aortic valve and two coronary bypasses in March this year. Everything was so well explained and the expertise of the surgeon and their Registrar and the wonderful after care they offered was brilliant. I am now feeling better than I have done for years. Praise also to Derby Royal Hospital for the original diagnosis and referral. Special praise also to the nursing and Care staff who did a wonderful job on Wards 31 and the next ward which they had to open up. I saw the National Health Service at its very best. Thank you to all including the discharge area where staff were so helpful although under a lot of pressure with the number of patients being discharged.
