Appalling attitude of receptionists at audiology department. lacking in basic good manners and patient interaction. no greeting on arrival, discourteous. brusque manner when being spoken to and extremely dismissive manner on departure. situation escalated when dept. management was contacted by phone to give feedback in the hope staff might benefit from training. the management was even more aggressive, confrontational and abrasive. it would appear from the rudeness that a culture of disrespect and discourteous behaviour is tolerated.

Thank you for your comments following your recent appointment within the Audiology Department at Manchester Royal Infirmary. The Directorate Manager has discussed the complaint with the two members of staff mentioned in the feedback and you will be receiving a formal letter from the manager imminently.
