"colposcopy visit"

After receiving a letter stating my smear had come back abnormal I was sent for a colposcopy. I was petrified. However, the staff were extremely friendly, reassuring me every step of the way and treating me with a lot of respect. The consultant and their team were truly fantastic. I only had to wait a few minutes to be called in and the whole procedure was very quick. I was extremely impressed with how all the staff dealt with me with compassion and care, trying their best to reassure me in what was a very scary situation for me. I did end up needing lletz treatment but it was painless and quick and the sense of relief I felt afterwards was amazing.
