From start to finish the care my mother received was superb.

Unfortunately mum's operation was cancelled as she sat waiting in her theatre gown-due to an emergency situation. But, Amanda ( Service Manager) could not have done enough to for us! Mums operation was re-scheduled for the same week, the surgeon attended the newly made theatre slot on his day off!

From Anaesthetist to Ward B23 staff everyone was absolutely fantastic. Thorough explanation was given at every turn despite staff being super busy. As a result mum was admitted, operated on and discharged within 48 hours- now that's an efficient, smooth running service!

We have nothing but praise for all those involved in my mums care and can only hope that these deserving staff get the recognition they all deserve! Thanks so much from a very grateful family.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback about you and your mum’s recent experience at NHS Forth Valley.

It can be very upsetting to have your operation cancelled on the day of surgery and please be assured that the decision to cancel surgery is something that we try to avoid and the decision to cancel is not undertaken lightly.

I have shared your feedback with all the staff, who really appreciated your kind words.
