"The nurses treated my daughter ..."

About: Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

The nurses treated my daughter with respect and genuine affection

What could be improved

The WRVS Service was so bad, it reduced my daughter (who was extremely ill, and subsequently died) to tears. They need to have some sympathy with the people they are dealing with.

Anything else?

My daughter died at the NNUH on May 11th 2009. One month later, a letter addressed to her arrived from the hospital asking her to comment on her treatment there. I think the fact she died at the hospital should have been signaled before they sent the letter

Please accept our sincere condolences and apologies. It's good to hear that the nurses treated your daughter with respect and affection. We do want to learn more about the problems you had with the WRVS volunteer and the letter. If you do want to get in touch we'd like to try and deal with those problems so they don't happen again.
