"Excellent care and service"

After breaking my wrist when falling badly near Porthgwarra beach on 15th June, I went to Penzance emergency department. Within less than an hour and a half of arriving, I had been booked in, triaged, x-rayed, had my wrist injected, manipulated and plastered, re-x-rayed and seen again by the A & E nurse. I cannot thank everyone enough for the professionalism, care and consideration I received, and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who did their bit to help me. Everyone was so good natured and I must say all the staff seemed so happy in their work. A few days later - 19th June, I went to the fracture clinic in Truro, had a new full cast put on and was again x-rayed. Once more, the care was excellent. Having worked in the health service myself for 34 years until I retired last year, I know how easy it is for people to "knock the system" and it is always nice for staff to have good feedback and a pat on the back for a job well done. Again, thank you !! PS - I'm managing to type with the cast on, and hopefully it will be good therapy !!
