"amazing staff and service"

I though I was in a private hospital!,arrived early for my appointment at the fracture clinic was seen virtually straight away,and was on my way to xray even before my allocated appointment time .all the staff very quick and efficient .X ray done back to clinic. again no wait ,saw consultant and staff nurse explained what I'd sustained and possible treatment ,I was worried about DVT after two weeks of inactivity and again sent me straightaway to have DVT scans, Then back to Clinic and suggested to go and have a coffee and lunch as they had arranged for physios and leg brace fitted at 1.30pm.Got back at 1.30 the staff nurse said" take a seat but don't get comfortable "and again within seconds called back in to have brace fitted and physio explained and a trial run on crutches ,again both consultants popped head s in to see if I was being seen to ,and again explained results and advised re holiday planned this Saturday on a cruise.All in all very impressed and as we lived just outside Manchester so pleased we happened to be near Ormskirk when I needed my initial visit .Our experience at our local failing hospital would have never matched that .Thank you to all the helpful smiling staff who made it clear they cared, not that you were an inconvenience
