Almost Nothing!!

This place is a complete and utter joke. The only good thing about this hospital is the road out of it.

What could be improved

Where do i start.

Try treating patients for the correct illness, Patient was admitted with stroke and treated for Urine infection!! This was for 72 hrs after seeing the consultant.. Unbelievable

Promised imediate physio and speech therapy and a transfer to a stroke ward by the doctor, 72 hours later this has still to happen as nurse informs us this is very much a monday - friday treatment... Are you having a laugh!

Patient was told to sit in his wheelchair and not to move at all as the ward was to small.

When patient asked for assistance with the toilet he was then left for another 90 mins before anyone helped.

I could list another 10 things, but you get the idea..

Anything else?

If you have the option of a long wait in Edinburgh or immediate care in St Johns. Go for the wait. At least you will be treated for the correct illness and with respect.

If you or your loved ones have the unfortune to be in Ward 9 in St Johns, I can only hope the service improves ten fold.
