What I liked

al of the nurses were great and all seemed to pick up on the fact that i was very nervouse and treated me very very well, the problem came when i went to the day surgey unit on the top floor where i was aproached by the anethsatist told me quite clearly that because i am over weight the anesthetic would kill me so as i was having an operation on my penis isaid could i have a local jab and anda line put in my arm with some sort of sedation and she replied if i can find a vein to wich i pointed out the veins sticking out on my ars and wrist as i never have any problems at the dentist whith sedation then after waiting after 7 hours the staff told me sorry you have been moved three spaces down a non existant list it was now 515 pm and after waiting for so long i decided that i have had enough and i left the day surgey unit i was getting cramps in my legs which i suffer from and this was why i wanted sedation while i was being operated on not rocket science no' NHS

What could be improved

the consutants and all the anethsatists should listen to what people are saying not fill them withe fear as in my case saying the anesthetic would kill me as i am over weight surley they could of put it in to better terms than that

Anything else?

so i still have to have an operation on my penis so i am going to save some money and get it done private at least you get seen to when you want to and are not entererd into some sort of nhs operating list lottery and to ad a foot note to all this and all the waiting around that i went throu and time wasting my operation was canceld three times
