"Endoscopy unit CIC"

About: Cumberland Infirmary

Today, I once again visited this department. I really can't praise highly enough, the staff of this unit. They are always so kind and caring, making what could ( potentially), be an embarrassing ( and uncomfortable) procedure more than bearable. They listen to your concerns, answer questions, and really put you at your ease. Thankyou, all of you, I really really appreciate your kindness. The only downside, is that the first waiting room ( just off the atrium), is really grim and depressing, perhaps the " powers that be", in the hospital, should consider the effect of waiting in such a depressing environment has on the patients. Many thanks once again.

Response from Cumberland Infirmary

Thanks you for taking the time to send your comments. The staff are really pleased that you are happy with the care they provide as they do work hard to ensure all patients are put at ease and have as good an experience as possible. In relation to your commente about the first waiting aerea; I have shared these and asked that consideration is given to improving this area. Best wishes Helen North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust.
