"The ability to confer with other ..."

About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The ability to confer with other (disgruntled) patients

What could be improved

Mostly everything. Response to patient call buttons - this frequently exceeded 40 minutes, with it being obvious that staff had become 'deaf' to the continuous noise of calls.Proper checking of medication. I was administered antibiotics to which I has an adverse and dangerous reaction; the hospital had not referred to my Notes which listed an allergy to Penicillin.

Surgeons not being adequately briefed on problems, then acting alone, and leaving me (the patient) bleeding, abandoned, while they went for help and advice! No apology for what had happened.

Anything else?

Quite honestly, unless so seriously ill that there was no viable alternative, I would not accept admission to this hospital again!
