"Dermatology today defied logic"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

Appointment today in Dermatology was the usual NHS money wasting practised by Medway Maritime Hospital. Despite my husband having beeen previously treated for Skin carcinomas on 3 occasions and referred yet again with further areas of concern on his head, the Nurse was unable to use commonsense and photograph all the patches, as his GP had neglected to list all areas as he assured him that the Dermatology Clinic would examine him thoroughly. So one area only to be reported on with the advice to make yet another GP appointment for a further referral and another lengthy wait on a list for the other patches to be assessed. Cost to NHS horrendous, cost to us in diesel, parking charges and worry unsubstainable. Summary the curse of Medway Maritime has struck again.
