"Visit to caroline thorpe ward"

About: North Devon District Hospital

I went along to caroline thorpe ward this morning with my 17 year old daughter due to concerns with her head, I simply cannot praise them enough ! No corners were cut they investigated every possibility and explained everything they were doing . Her bloods results were back within less than an hour futher ones will take a bit longer but rome wasn't built in a day either. The Doctor on CT ward was amazing so professional but easy to talk to at the same time, their boss (sorry didn't get your name ) you to were great and explained do much with a sense of humour too . Nurses were all friendly and couldn't do enough . Fantastic caroline thorpe ward .

Thank you for posting your comments on the website following your recent appointment with your daughter on Caroline Thorpe ward.

I was really pleased to see the investigations and tests were clearly explained to you both at all stages of the treatment, as it must have been a very worrying time for you. It was also good to note you found the staff professional and approachable, as well as having a good senses of humour- which is very important when treating young people, as it puts them at ease.

I have shared your very kind comments with the Ward Manager where they will be very much appreciated and also shared with team.
