"Cleanliness"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary

My mum was brought to A&E department via ambulance in the early hrs & after nearly 5 hrs waiting on a hospital bed all the staff could manage was to provide a ID bracelet on her. After approaching a member of staff regarding my mums care( lack off it) I then decided to go to the loo where the cleaner was busy cleaning which was lovely to see? as the cleaner came from cleaning the toilet I was horrified to see them use the same cloth to then go on & clean the sinks? I walked straight out in discuss , we were then taken to a ward where a bed had become available for my mum? after a few hrs on the ward & by this time she was receiving exellent care from the staff my mum had a toilet accident while trying to get on the commode we informed a member of staff regarding this & was told someone will be with us shortly to clean up the ? on the floor............ Oh my lord I'm disgusted to say that no one came to clean up the mess & even on her discharge it still hadn't been cleaned. It really does sadden me to feel the need to write such a damming review . This is a hospital & the cleanliness must always be off the very highest standard.
