At my daughters initial appointment to see a neurologist, they requested a follow-up appointment in 3 months. I chased this up 4 days ago with the appointment team, but they were unable to find that another appointment was requested nor made and were unable to make the appointment so transferred me to the neurologists secretary. I so far have left 3 messages for them to call me back explaining the situation and only get through to an answerphone each time which states they are short staffed and it is likely to be 24 hours until they can get back to you. But seriously 3 days?! Having to wait 14 weeks for the initial appointment was bad enough but now she can not even get the next appointment that was requested by the neurologist 2 months ago! Short staffed they may and have been for some time judging by the reviews however you are failing in your duty of care towards my child who so far has been unwell for 6 months and unable to live a normal life until the neurologist gets her medication right. How is that acceptable? off to try for a 4th time!
