"My experience of The Harbour hospital as an in patient"

About: Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust / Inpatient mental health care

(as the patient),

I was admitted to, and stayed for eleven days on the Churchill Ward.

The staff and their care and attention was good. The facilities, bedrooms and en suite facilities were good. So was the catering and the catering staff.

I think the smoking policy could be improved.

Many thanks for your feedback, I will ensure that the comments you make are shared with the staff at the Harbour. With regard to the 'smoking' policy, we understand that there have been some issues with this development as it has presented challenges for some staff and service users alike. However, the Trust is committed to health improvement and we are working towards ensuring that people are supported whilst on Trust property.

Regards,
