My GP has been very active getting me services related to my diabetes and weight management and an ultrasound. Cant fault the help but a three week waiting list is inexcusable. Especially when trying to assess new medications which rely on blood results.

Unfortunately the referral service is useless, I received two different letters to call up for the USS one after I had already had the scan, I asked for one clinic and was sent a date for a diferent one!

The scan appointment wasnt recorded, so I had another letter! The computers havent been working for weeks so my next referral hasnt happened, and I even had a letter to call in, to then get a letter to be referred to call back? ! Even the operator said it was a backwards system. What are people thinking, a complete waste of my time and nhs resources.
