About: Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust / Health visiting

(as the patient),

District nurse attended me three times a week, Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

It would be nice if I could have the same nurse (but I think this is not possible) Also it would be nice if I could have the same time or nearest in the morning. (Otherwise, the nurses I have met are wonderful)

Dear Thrown48,

Thank you for taking the time to post a message regarding our service. It is really pleasing to know that our nurses are providing such a good service when they visit.

We understand that ideally people would like to see the same nurse each visit and at the same time. However-we are working with finite numbers of staff and we have to prioritise our work and on a daily and sometimes hourly basis. We schedule according to many factors including urgency and risk so it is not always possible to have such continuity.

However-we are still working on ways to improve this aspect of our work-especially using Information technology and hope to improve the situation.
