What I liked

During my stay on Tye Green ward, the professional attitude displayed by all members of staff was most impressive. The teamwork displayed, managed to create a calm environment to encourage the healing process. I do not want to pick on any particular area of expertise, because each member in their particular field of trearment was very efficient!! My grateful thanks to all of them. I hope to make a full recovery, of my knee replacement quickly, as testament to their skills. Re the catering service:- the choice of food was most satisfactory, well prepared and plentiful. Ward cleaning was also very well executed.

What could be improved

From the male viewpoint, and the use of the dreaded overnight bottle, I would suggest that your procurement people should review the quality of these items. Most of the bottles that were used on my ward were of such poor manufacture that they leaked very badly, thus causing additional work for the nursing staff. Surely an item can be purchased that has the seam joint securely affixed and leakproof !!
